Kevin Hein is a senior technology executive with over 30 years of experience designing, delivering, and modernizing complex software and systems across commercial, government, and mission-critical environments. Kevin’s expertise lies in aligning technology strategy, architecture, and delivery with organizational goals, enabling companies to translate advances in AI, data platforms, and cloud-native technologies into scalable, operationally sound solutions.

Kevin develops insights through in-depth analysis of industry forces, including the adoption of artificial intelligence and machine learning, data and analytics platforms, cloud-native and microservices architectures, and modern DevSecOps and Agile delivery models. He also evaluates environmental and operational factors, such as regulatory and governance constraints, legacy system dependencies, cost and performance trade-offs, and the organizational challenges of deploying advanced technologies in production.

Kevin has spent his career working across a broad range of industries, including defense and aerospace, telecommunications, fintech, SaaS, commercial real estate, logistics, and government. Earlier in his career, he worked extensively in the defense industry, contributing to guidance systems, simulation platforms, and ground support systems, where reliability, determinism, and system safety were critical requirements. He later held senior leadership and advisory roles as CTO, Head of Engineering, Chief Solutions Architect, CIO, and Enterprise Architect, working with organizations ranging from startups to global enterprises, including Biproxi, NZQA, Intel, Motorola, EDS, General Motors, Lufthansa, Williams Communications, Sprint, Orbital, and General Dynamics.

Kevin advises technology vendors, enterprises, and public-sector organizations on AI adoption, platform and systems architecture, delivery models, and the practical realities of building and operating advanced software systems at scale. His perspective is shaped by decades of hands-on engineering leadership, executive responsibility, and business process thinking across both commercial and mission-critical domains.
